Estimated project cost range (fixtures, accessories, partitions — excludes rough-in labor and finishes)
These are rough order-of-magnitude estimates only. Actual costs vary significantly based on local labor rates, supply chain conditions, specific product selections, and project complexity. Always obtain competitive bids from qualified contractors before budgeting.

Understanding restroom construction costs

Commercial restroom costs are typically broken into three buckets: rough-in (plumbing, electrical, blocking — typically 40–50% of total), finishes (tile, paint, ceilings, lighting — typically 20–30% of total), and fixtures and accessories (toilets, sinks, partitions, accessories — typically 25–35% of total).

This estimator focuses on the fixtures and accessories budget. For a complete project budget, multiply the fixture/accessory estimate by 3–4x to account for rough-in and finishes in new construction, or by 2–3x for renovation work.
